Teens and college students with ADHD or weak executive function skills can face enormous challenges managing their personal lives and balancing the demands of school. ADHD coaching can help young people:
-
Learn how to stay on track
-
Learn to use systems
-
Get organized
-
Be motivated to achieve their goals
-
Self-advocate for themselves and be more independent
-
Better understand their ADHD or executive function weaknesses
Coaching can also relieve the burden from parents of having to provide these types of supports on a daily basis which can cause additional stress to everyone involved.
The program is comprised of a pre-screening session for which there is no charge, an intake session which generally takes 1-2 hours, and then weekly coaching sessions 30-45 minutes in length. Results from coaching take place over time, therefore a minimum time commitment is requested. Coaching fees include weekly email check-ins to support goal progress. Coaching sessions often take place on the phone, but can also be done in person or online.
